Written By Andrea Peralta

Coming off a season that included a #2 national ranking for the men's team and multiple national honors for the women's team, FC Monmouth enters 2026 with higher expectations and broader ambitions. With the launch of the club’s first ever Men’s Field Trip Day and renewed rivalries taking place at Count Basie Park in Red Bank, this new season promises to be one of the most impactful seasons to come.

A First for FC Monmouth: Men’s Field Trip Day

The season opens with a defining moment for FC Monmouth. On Friday, May 1st at 11:30 AM, FC Monmouth will host its first ever Men’s Field Trip Day, inviting schools across Monmouth County to attend a free, interactive experience with the team. The day will start at 9:00 AM with health and wellness programming, educational engagement opportunities, and on-field activities before a men’s preseason kickoff against a to-be-announced opponent.

“This is an event that we have wanted to offer to the community for years, and we are finally able to bring this experience to the aspiring athletes of our next generation. We hope to offer an opportunity to all students in our backyard to gain an up close experience with our players to be able to inspire younger athletes to reach their goals in and out of the classroom.”

This new event reflects FC Monmouth's continued commitment to engage with the youth and community.
