FC Monmouth is proud to announce our new coaching staff for the 2018 inaugural season in the NPSL, with Brian Woods as the new Head Coach, Nick LaBrocca as the Assistant Coach and Peter-John Falloon as the Assistant / Goalkeeper Coach.

Brian Woods, former New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Coach of the Year, finished his 26th season as William Paterson University’s men’s soccer head coach in 2017. In addition to coaching the men’s program, Woods also founded the William Paterson women’s soccer program as a club sport and guided it through its first three varsity seasons. Besides his work with the Pioneers, Brian is a ECNL Academy Coach for Match Fit Academy.

"I am very excited to be chosen as the first Head Coach of FC Monmouth. I can not wait to get started with the players and the community to build something special in Monmouth County. I look forward to the challenge of this great opportunity, that I was afforded by the ownership group."

Nick LaBrocca, born and raised in Monmouth County playing high school soccer at Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft before going on to having a three time All-Big East career at Rutgers University, finished his professional soccer career in 2016 with Chicago Fire. Selected by Colorado Rapids in the 2007 MLS SuperDraft, LaBrocca played over 250 MLS games with Colorado Rapids, Toronto FC, Chivas USA and Chicago Fire. LaBrocca also played in the 2011 MLS All-Star Game against Manchester United and received one call up to the senior US men's national team camp ahead of a World Cup Qualifier against Guatemala.

"The players FC Monmouth will field are mostly local NJ guys aiming for a professional soccer career, and together with the rest of the staff and organization I want to help them prepare for this by sharing my experiences and developing their skills."

Peter-John Falloon started his first year as Kean's men’s soccer head coach in 2017. Before Kean, Falloon spent nine seasons at Bloomfield University, reaching the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament in seven of his seasons at the helm of the program, once capturing the title and making the program's first trip to the NCAA Tournament. A native of Saint Andrew, Jamaica, Falloon was one of the top goalkeepers in his country from his early days on the pitch including being a member of the Jamaican under-12 National Team.

FC Monmouth is excited to work with Brian, Nick and Peter-John to put together a team this season that helps build our club and connect, entertain and inspire Monmouth County.
