FC Monmouth Announces Amici Pizzeria As Its Official Pizza Slice

FC Monmouth is thrilled to announce Amici Pizzeria as its official Pizza slice!
Amici or “Friends” in Italian, is a casual counter-served eatery offering pizza, pasta, heroes, wings, and classic entree. Located off of RT 36 in Atlantic Highlands, Amici is the perfect stop to grab a slice before hitting the shore this summer.
Owned by Anthony and Melanie Fabbri, the families soccer ties run deep in their Italian heritage.
“Every Sunday morning my dad and I would watch Serie A on RAI International. Channel 19 on cable. My dad played soccer in Italy in his hometown, Monte di Procida. This became his favorite sport and when he used to write letters to soccer teams, Inter was the only one to write back and send him pictures and merchandise” said Fabbri.
Aside from soccer, Amici supports sporting organizations from around Monmouth County. The restaurant just wrapped up its second seasons supporting BYAA wrestling as well as St. Mary’s Athletic Association.
“We are always happy to donate and sponsor as many youth sports as possible, we just need people to ask!” Melanie explained.
Amici was able to provide our 2024 Just Sport Training spring break camps with food for all of our participants.
“The food is great, and it looks like the kids loved it which makes it even better! Amici certainly adds to the experience that we are able to offer to all of our players and participants” says general manager James Davis.
With summer quickly approaching the Fabbri’s have a lot to look forward to with Amici.
“The beach traffic definitely helps out business at Amici and we love talking to people from out of town and hear where they're visiting from and what brings them here other than the beach. I can't wait to bring my kids to FC Monmouth games to share my love of football/calcio/soccer! We also have a few pop ups happening at Amici over the next few months, you’ll have to follow us on social media to stay tuned as to when those are happening” Fabbri explained.
