Know Before You Go: FC Monmouth Open Cup Match Day

FC Monmouth returns to Count Basie Field this Saturday, October 11 at 7PM, for their first ever US Open Cup match.

The blue and gold face off against an unfamiliar team, Bulldogs SC, from Old Bridge, and with a 7 pm kickoff, fans are encouraged to arrive early and can park in the Count Basie Field Lot or adjacent street parking.

You can purchase your tickets here: www.sitickets.com. Adult tickets are $10, and youth tickets are $5.

Adding to the excitement of this historic night for FC Monmouth, renowned soccer journalist Tom Bogert will participate in the coin toss prior to the match.

The anticipation for this match has continued to ramp up following the club’s historic announcement in early August that they will compete in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. While much of the team's roster will be in the midst of their college seasons, the club has built a team consisting of former and current players.

As FC Monmouth embarks on this historic journey the players are more eager than ever to show off their Monmouth County pride. Fans are encouraged to jam the Basie and watch as the players take their first steps into the US Open Cup.
