FC Monmouth Announces 2020 Season Schedule
FC Monmouth will enter its third season in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) and its Keystone Conference this upcoming May. The 10-game regular season schedule will kick off on May 16, and will come to a close on July 3.
The 2020 schedule will feature six games against teams who played in the 2019 Keystone Conference Playoffs, four of which come in the first five games of the season. It also features four games against in-state rivals, which will function as home-and-away series against Atlantic City FC and FC Motown. Get your home game season tickets here today.
The 2020 season kicks off at Count Basie Park on May 16, as FC Monmouth hosts FC Motown, before traveling to Electric City and Philadelphia Lone Star FC over the following two weeks. The team will then host West Chester United SC to open the month of June, in its first-ever Friday night game at Count Basie Park. That contest will be followed by games at Atlantic City FC, versus Hershey FC, and at Torch FC. The home slate wraps up with two games in a four day stretch, as Atlantic City FC and Electric City will come through Count Basie Park June 24 and 27. FC Monmouth will conclude the regular season on July 3, at FC Motown.
For the third-straight season, Count Basie Park will be the site for FC Monmouth home games, and for the second-straight season, it will host the team’s season opener. FC Monmouth has enjoyed a lot of success in Red Bank over its first two seasons, as it has accumulated a 6-2-2 all-time home record.
FC Monmouth finished the 2019 season with a record of 5-4-1, narrowly missing out on its second-straight playoff appearance. Through two seasons in the NPSL, the team has amassed a record of 11-7-2.
