FC Monmouth Presents 2018 Jersey and Jersey Sponsors Ahead Of NPSL Season

On Saturday May 5th, 2018, all FC Monmouth players entered the field for an intra-team scrimmage to prepare for the NPSL season and to introduce themselves to the local fans. The attending supporters were able to see their new local team wearing the inaugural match day kit produced by Italian technical sportswear brand Macron.

FC Monmouth is now proud to present our home and away jersey to everyone ahead of the season start on Wednesday May 9, 2018, against Atlantic City FC.

First, the blue and yellow colors come from our logo representing the famous Monmouth County lighthouses reflecting on the ocean. In our games we aim to be the calm but powerful force that the water symbolizes as well as the beacon of light advancing our mission to connect, entertain and inspire Monmouth County. To always remember, both jerseys have a We Are Monmouth print on the back and on top of that the yellow jersey features all our town names ranging from Aberdeen to West Long Branch.

Second, we are extremely honored to feature two organizations on our jerseys that have long been leaders in their space. Our title sponsor appearing on the front of all jerseys is SMK Workforce Solutions, a consulting firm uniquely focused on the key retail proposition of the Customer Experience across all retail channels. Plus, their team has a passion for soccer and has been involved in NJ soccer for years. For the player uniforms on game day, the right sleeve of the jersey features Family & Children's Service (FCS), Monmouth County's oldest nonprofit social service agency, serving the needs of vulnerable children, adults and families since 1909. We are happy FC Monmouth can help promote their missions and messages to everyone in our area throughout this season.

“Our goal for FC Monmouth is to use the excitement around soccer to give back to the community”, says Jacco de Bruijn, GM of FC Monmouth. “We are very happy that we have been able to find both these aspects of passion and purpose in our two jersey sponsors. We look forward to working together throughout the season and beyond.”

“SMK Workforce Solutions is proud and thrilled to be the title sponsor of a first-class organization like FC Monmouth. We share in their commitment to the community in New Jersey and the beautiful game of soccer. It’s exciting to be a partner to a club that will connect, entertain and inspire fans of a sport that continues to grow in popularity and engages the local community in Monmouth County.” says Scott Knaul, CEO of SMK Workforce Solutions.

The jerseys will be worn by the team every NPSL game, see the season schedule here, and will also be sold to fans for the first time at our home opener on Saturday May 12 at 6pm when we play Electric City Shock (Scranton, PA) at Count Basie Park in Red Bank. Any jerseys left we will sell them at both our other home games and in our online store with fan gear.
